I’m Martine, the heart behind The Body Talk Therapist. As an evidence-based psychotherapist and advocate for holistic trauma recovery, my journey began when I discovered that talk therapy alone wasn’t enough to untangle the layers of trauma and overwhelm.

After 30+ years of practicing traditional therapy, I realised something crucial was missing – true healing wasn't just a mental process; it required engaging the body's wisdom, too.

Believe it or not, the body has its own story to tell – we just need to listen. This insight led me to become a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, diving deeper into the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit.
